We have a very loving shiba, but our recent move and having a baby now our life has not been easy on her. She was used to having more outdoor space and more attention and she’s been more stressed since our recent move this past month.
Food aggression with strangers around her food or toys/treats. She has snapped if people pet her on her face or head or do not let her sniff you first.
She loves playing tug and fetch and growls during tug but this is friendly.
She is much happier off leash; on leash may growl or snap at other dogs when greeting them. She does not like coming to you when you want to put on her harness or leash, but will if you are persistent.
She roams free in our home and sleeps on our bed or our bedroom mostly, loves being loved on and getting her belly rubbed. She is very healthy, just had a checkup this week and her 3 year vaccines are up to date.
She will benefit from a loving home, preferably with outdoor space.
