$150 - NON NEGOTIABLE
We got Foxy from an elderly lady via Craigslist. I researched the breed and thought she would be a good match for us. Unfortunately my husband has never really liked her much.
Since we have had her she has had a few late night accidents in the house so we made her an outdoor dog. She bolts so has to have a fenced in yard and needs to always be on a leash. She is extremely independent and rarely responds to commands like "come" or "sit" but has improved with the latter with a lot of practice.
She is aggressive with other dogs unless they are smaller than she is. She ignores our cat. She is playful at times but often sleeps or roams the yard.
She likes young kids and responds well to them.
Since we got her, she easily flinches at loud noises or sometimes even when one attempts to pet her.
She has never been aggressive or bitten anyone.
She goes through a complete shed once a year and looks quite mangy for a few weeks until it is over. Her coat - as well as her overall health is very good otherwise.
Though our vet disagrees, she ignores us so much that we wonder if she is a little hard of hearing. One of her eyes may be getting weak, but again, not confirmed by the vet. She has yearly exams/wormings and is the up to date on her shots.
She is cute as a button. She needs a home with patient and knowledgeable owners.
Foxy will be placed only in Arkansas or nearby states because we want to conduct a home visit of potential adopters.
